Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson posted five receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown in the Week 5 game Monday, Oct. 10, against the Chicago Bears. His streak of two TDs ended at four games, but he now has nine scores in his first five games. No wide receiver in NFL history has ever accomplished that feat.

Calvin johnson
Five Detroit Lions players missed practice on Wednesday, including wide receiver Calvin Johnson and safety Louis Delmas. Johnson was out because he rolled his ankle in the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Delmas hurt his hip in that game, and the injury forced him to miss practice on Wednesday.
The good news is both Johnson and Delmas seem to expect to play on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Missing practice yesterday for them sounds more precautionary than anything.
